I Can Smell Barbequed Meat Slices Already!

Ahhhh, the aroma that I am so used to every Chinese New Year!
I absolutely love those sweet, smoked meat slices smacked right in the center of two slices of bread; it brings back so many memories of my childhood.

I can also taste the sweet longan syrup that is my favorite Chinese New Year drink, but now that I am older, I love it together with some Shandy!
What's the festive season without a tinge of alcohol, eh?
