'midas shoes', pffft.

i am paying homage to my favorite childhood craft supply with this d.i.y. project; GLITTER!

so this is how i started out in the afternoon:

this is what it looks like after pasting glitter on the body:

after painting the base:

and after defining the piping:

still contemplating whether to remove the tongue of the plimsolls or cover it with glitter or leave it as it is.
i actually have other plans for this, but we'll see how it goes.


surprisingly, it does not require as much glitter as i thought; so i have almost three-full-bottles worth of glitter that can cover about 100 more shoes probably, LOL!

so if any of you happen to want glitter on your shoes, you know who to find!
